It will be decorated in time for Christmas this year!!

Thought I'd try and do as much as possible to the dolls house before I start back at uni, and it gets left to one side for another year!! I really am hoping though that I can make it look all Christmassy this year, with 4 out of the 6 house rooms complete (haven't started on the Army-Barmy Basement yet, but have some good ideas!) So here it is at the moment..!

The bedroom - a little plainer than I'd like but nevertheless finished (when it has coving and skirting board lol)

The lounge - again, finished besides coving and skirting boards, and looking quite cosy!

The Kitchen - this one has been a long time coming, but it definately my favourite room I think, you can do so much with a kitchen as you can see!

I do love the fridge!!

Life Update!

Well it's been a while once again since either of us blogged, lots been going on though!

Over the last few months we've both had exams and assignments to do, Stephen has now finished his degree - and is very happy about that! (he has aquired a new hobby which I'll leave him to explain - sure he'll have some pics on here soon!) I have been on placement at my old primary school for the last 3 weeks, got just under 2 weeks left to go now, not sure if teachings what I want to do, but this has been a great experience which I'm so glad I chose to do! (Only wish we didn't have to do the report that goes with it but thats life eh!)

Its just over a week now since Roots (it feels so long ago though!), was a really fun weekend, with spider tales, and mexican waves! Was just really good to spend some time with friends and family not having to worry about anythign else. I haven't got many pics but Stephen has some video footage of some of the celebrations and stuff. The best bit of the whole weekend for me was definately the Watoto children's choir from Uganda, they were mesmorising!! Their stories were so touching, its hard to explain without having seen them - I do believe there are some videos on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AHSt7tfT_8&feature=related I shall see if Ste can get some of his video up soon though.

Anyway I shall leave it at that for now, I shall come back with pictures next time!x

The Dolls House looking more and more like a house!

This is the lounge, which will hopefully have a fireplace soon (we've seen the one we want haven't got around to purchasing it!), and pictures/rugs etc, the skirting boards and coving need to be put in also and the stairs will be white with a red carpet runner when we get round to it!

Kitchen has a lick of paint now, there's not much in it at the moment as not got the coving & skirting board in yet, but when thats done this room will be finished!
The bathroom finally complete with bath mat!

A poorly Stephen!

Today, Stephen is poorly. Can't tell you why, it's mingin' (as Stephen puts it!)

Here is Stephen cooling down with his cold flannel - he is sucking the wetness out of it with his mouth - apparently it really helps!! (or at least it did when he was 10!)

Just to explain this is some of our fun from over Christmas, just a snippet from our feature length film of Christmas with the Louisa and Steevy Show!

In this extract we added the finishing touches to two of our houses! We should be property developers!

By the way, if you are clever enough to notice there is one post missing from under the little bit of roof, blame Louisa's dad for this, he kicked it a while ago.
